The Las Vegas Juneteenth Festival is a coming together of the community to celebrate the impact of African-American culture & heritage.
Our 20th annual Las Vegas Juneteenth Festival, taking place on June 19, 2021, is a live outdoor event which will feature delicious tastes of the city, amazing live performances by talented local artists as well as established entertainers, community speakers, various product and services vendors, workshops, and more.
The Las Vegas Juneteenth Festival was established 20 years ago by respected educator and philanthropist Diane Pollard to directly support The Rainbow Dreams Educational Foundation and The Rainbow Dreams Academy Charter School which provide yearly student scholarships along with the highest level of education to the underserved youth of Las Vegas’ Historic Westside community.
The Las Vegas Juneteenth Festival is a coming together of the community to celebrate the impact of African-American culture, heritage, and, most importantly, to reflect on the abolition of slavery in 1865. It is a time for people of all races, nationalities, and religions to gather together and embrace diversity and celebrate freedom while acknowledging a period in our nation’s history that shaped and continues to influence our society today.
