Pre-Red Carpet Foodie Tour
We think of ourselves as storytellers, showcasing each neighborhood
through the people, places, and great food (and drinks). Downtown is
where we started as a community and very few people know much about
the history of LAS VEGAS. Our goal is to bridge the gap
through culinaryexperiences.
Duration: 2.5 hours THIS IS A WALKING TOUR
· Discover a new neighborhood or learn more about a familiar one.
· Listen to fascinating stories about the history of Las Vegas
· We are the original downtown LAS VEGAS foodie tour. During
the tour, we visit passionate food vendors, taste amazing food, and
discover parts of the city that reveal Vegas history, quirks, and
culture.
· This tour starts at the historic Grand Hotel built originally
in 1964 as the Lady Luck. As we walk from 3rd to 7th street, you will
learn about the history of Las Vegas and why anyone thought it would
be a great idea to start a community in the middle of a hot desert.
You will taste locally made foods and beverages that will awaken your
palate, while learning about and meeting the storied characters and
vendors that give downtown Las Vegas life. Soak up the rich and
vibrant history that even locals don't know about! Most of our tasting
locations have received national and local awards. We don't just think
downtown has great food - we can prove it!
MOST of our tasting partners CANNOT provide alternative dietary
restrictions. Thus, we don't suggest our tour experience as a
suitable activity for guests adhering to a strict vegan diet or with a
variety of food allergies.
The tour covers approximately 1/2 mile. Guests should wear
comfortable shoes and clothing. This tour starts in the downtown
historic district, proceeds through the newer Fremont East district
ending at Container Park. The address for Container Park is 707 East
Fremont Street, Las Vegas NV 89101
