UNLV Dance Summer International Intensive in Las Vegas

UNLV Dance Summer International Intensive UNLV Department of Dance present the Ballet / Jazz International Summer Intensive from June 29 - July 4, 2020. The intensive will feature a progressive approach and classical foundation to both of these styles of dance. Classes will be taught by Dolly Kelepecz, Toni Rodriguez, Richard Havey, James Jeon, Clarice Geissel- Rathers, Sean Cronin, Alison Kravenko, Turchimeg Turbat, and Aaron Turner. Classes will begin each day at 8:30 a.m. with a Pilates awakening class. Ballet technique will follow and the morning will finish with pointe, men’s class, or Partnering. After a 30-minute lunch break, the day will continue with jazz, focusing on musical theater, classical jazz, and contemporary jazz, as well as a funk / hip hop fusion style of jazz. A stretch class will wrap up the day. Class will finish at approximately 3:30 p.m. daily. UNLV is located approximately two miles east of the Strip.
