CHRISTIAN SCIENCE PRACTITIONER AND LECTURER MICHELLE NANOUCHE WILL
PRESENT HER LECTURE TITLED, ‘CHRISTIAN SCIENCE: What it is and how
it HEALS.’ The LECTURE WILL EXPLORE A VARIETY OF QUESTIONS,
including: “Why is it that genuine healing involves more than purely
physical factors based on a patient’s biology and genetic
make-up?” “What does CHRISTIAN SCIENCE OFFER BEYOND POSITIVE
THINKING OR FAITH HEALING?” “How is CHRISTIAN SCIENCE BOTH
SPIRITUAL AND SCIENTIFIC?” Nanouche’s responses are based on the
works and teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and as
discussed in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures written by
Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science movement and a
native of New Hampshire. Nanouche will also offer compelling examples
– including the healing of a severe leg injury – from her
professional practice of healing to illustrate elements of Christian
Science treatment.
First Church of Christ, Scientist, invites the community to come hear
this thought-provoking talk and see the progress on recent historic
preservation work on the building and stained-glass windows.
