This workshop will focus on the skills you need to bring regenerative, minimal soil disturbance gardening practices to your own home garden beds. We will learn several ways to prepare no-till/low-till gardens, talk tools and techniques -- lasagna style, types of mulching, and cover cropping – as well as addressing problems that might arise. We will discuss how to care for your regenerative garden to save time and energy.
Bring your own questions to ask while we work outside in the Badger gardens doing some hands-on learning. Please bring gloves and small hand tools, and don’t forget to wear appropriate clothing for working in the garden in light weather!
This workshop will follow social distancing recommendations; it will be held outdoors so folks can maintain appropriate distance. The instructor will not be wearing a mask so as to be heard at a distance. The workshop will be held rain or shine, but will be cancelled for any harsh weather.
