Ocean Discovery Day

Love the ocean? We do, too! Ocean Discovery Day is your chance to learn all about marine science and ocean engineering at UNH. This free, all-ages event will engage explorers with hands-on activities and presentations: Check out the cutting-edge seafloor mapping technology, find out how scientists monitor the water quality in Great Bay and how they use acoustic technology to study marine life. You can maneuver an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), touch a sea star, make a fish print and much more. New this year: Hop on a free shuttle bus and head over to the New England Fall Astronomy Festival — another free, family-friendly event on the UNH campus focused on space science. Food vendors will be available at both locations. From the seafloor to the stars, join us for two fantastic (and free!) STEM events.
