Bring Your Appetite to St. Peter’s 9th Annual Chili and Chowder Cookoff

ST. PETER'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH invites you to warm your tummy and your heart at its 9th ANNUAL CHILI CHOWDER COOKOFF IN SUPPORT OF THE LIBERTY HOUSE IN MANCHESTER AND ST. PETER’s various missions. BRING YOUR APPETITE AND, if you wish to enter the friendly competition, BRING YOUR BEST CHILI OR CHOWDER. Kids are encouraged to enter their dessert creations in the Kids’ Dessert Competition. This fun filled event will occur Saturday, March 21st from 4:30-6:00 PM at St. PETER’s Church, 3 Peabody Row LONDONDERRY NH.  There will be much to do! Enjoy tasting the delectable entries and then cast your vote for the winners of the coveted People's Choice and Kids Choice awards. Celebrity judges Josh ‘Chiefy’ Mann, chili award winner and Chief Engineer from 95.7 WZID, and Christian LaCoss (aka DJ Reklss) well-known Country DJ from 96.5 Live Free Country, will be on hand to crown this year’s champions. Stop by the popular raffle table and take a chance (or 2) on a variety of prizes donated by local businesses and parishioners. Selections include gift cards from restaurants such as Cotton in Manchester and The Stumble Inn in Derry. Or maybe one of the gift baskets provided by St. Peter parishioners and generous local shops like Derry Feed will catch your eye.  Attendees are invited for a $15 donation ($7 for children 10 and under). There is an entry fee of $10 for CHILI AND CHOWDER CHEFS WHILE KIDS MAY ENTER THE DESSERT COMPETITION FREE OF CHARGE. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Liberty House in Manchester NH, which helps struggling veterans by connecting them to available resources and providing safe, substance-free housing.
