Painting at Prescott Farm: Winter Wonders

This program will be a history lesson as well as a discussion. Keeping it casual, we will have a campfire to sit around through the duration of the program and share some snacks and hot cider. S’more supplies will be available for those who like dessert for breakfast! First we will have a lesson on the basic (pre-European settlers) history of New Hampshire, and then move onto history specific to the Squam Region. Afterwards, participants are free to ask questions or have a further discussion with the group on this topic.
This program is for all ages and will especially appeal to history buffs and those wishing to learn more about the Pennacook Abenaki tribes of New Hampshire. Although it’s a casual setting, younger children may get restless as we will be sitting around a campfire for the duration of the program.
Registration is required. Space is limited to 12 people.
