Session 2: Intermediate - New Castle, NH 2026

Intermediate course aimed toward young people who have already completed 2 to 3 Beginner courses when they were younger and are starting to be competent sailors. With that said while the intermediate class is faster paced and assumes prior knowledge, it spans various levels of expertise between students. It is a fine class for beginner students to learn to sail and have the drive to catch up to their classmates. Our experience is that older kids learn faster as well. Intermediate students will gain confidence to skipper and crew the large Vanguard 420 boats in a range of wind conditions, will learn basic racing/right of way rules and will begin to learn racing fundamentals.
