Eric Lewis, also known as ELEW, is an acclaimed pianist and innovator.
A native of Camden, New Jersey, he won the prestigious Thelonious Monk
International Piano Competition in 1999 and toured with jazz legends
like Wynton Marsalis, Elvin Jones, and Roy Hargrove. ELEW redefined
jazz by blending piano techniques with rock elements, creating a
unique style called "Rockjazz." He's known for his bold
reinterpretations of songs by artists like Nirvana and Coldplay. In
addition to his music career, ELEW is a prominent DJ and creator of
"Piano Turntablism," where he merges live piano with DJ techniques,
bringing a high-energy, crossover experience to events worldwide. With
a rich legacy of performances and innovations, including his signature
"Counterbop" technique, ELEW continues to captivate global audiences
