Kurt Elling, a two-time GRAMMY Award winner, is celebrated for his
rich sound, innovative vocalese, and contemporary beat lyricism. The
New York Times calls him 'the standout male jazz vocalist of our
time,' while The Guardian compares him to 'a kind of Sinatra with
superpowers.' With over 25 years in music, Elling has earned numerous
accolades, including three Prix du Jazz Vocal, two Echo Awards, and
twelve Jazz Journalists Awards for "Male Vocalist of the Year." His
collaborations include Branford Marsalis, Fred Hersch, and Stefon
Harris, and he has performed with top ensembles like the NY
Philharmonic and Count Basie Orchestra. Elling has also created
multi-disciplinary performances for Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater and
is co-writing a new jazz musical, The Big Blind. His international
tours include performances at UNESCO's International Jazz Day and
twice at the White House. He also served as Vice Chairman of The
National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The Box Office at
