PORTSMOUTH, NH: Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience as the electrifying British/American acid blues band, Bees Deluxe, takes the stage for a live brunch show at The Press Room on Sunday April 20th at noon. Known for their unique sound that fuses blues with jazz, funk, and psychedelia, this dynamic group is led by British guitarist Conrad Warre, whose playing has drawn comparisons to legends like Frank Zappa, Mark Knopfler Freddie King, and Walter Becker.

Hailing from Boston but performing from Maine to Miami, the British/American Bees Deluxe captivates audiences with high-energy shows and genre-bending performances. They have shared the stage with renowned artists such as Ronnie Earl, Mike Zito, Matt Schofield, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Roomful of Blues and Walter Trout. Joining Warre on stage are Carol Band, on keys, vocals, and harmonica; powerhouse drummer and songwriter Paul Giovine; and the virtuoso bassist Allyn “Aldo” Dorr. Together, they deliver a repertoire that blends original compositions with innovative interpretations of classics from icons like Billie Holiday, Etta James, and B.B. King.

"The Bees Deluxe sound starts with blues but adds rock and jazz fusion to the mix," says Meg Trogolo of Worcester Magazine. "It's a vibe that’s distinctly ‘70s but sometimes more Steely Dan than Eric Clapton."
