Yoga Fest Jersey City 2019

Each year during the week of the summer solstice is International Yoga Day. Cities and studios around the world come together to celebrate the union of yoga. In many instances, a public event is held that incorporates 108 sun salutations in an outdoor venue. This year Jivamukti Yoga Jersey City has teamed up with HDSID (Historic Downtown Special Improvement District), the City of Jersey City and the Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs to produce the second annual Yoga Fest Jersey City on Saturday June 22.

The event will begin at 7am on Saturday June 22 on Newark Avenue in the green pedestrian zone and finish at appx. 6pm in the afternoon. The tentative program includes:

Greeting and invocation, 108 Sun Salutations
Featured Yoga Classes and Mini Yoga Workshops, 
108 Japa Mantras, kids and family yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Class with Featured International Yoga Teacher, Meditation and Mindfulness Tent. All Day Musical concerts, Vegan Food, Eco-friendly Shopping,
Speakers and Closing remarks and blessings, and more.

This is a free public event. ******Please note you will need to bring a yoga mat, water, sunglasses, sunscreen and love. Check-in at 6:30am.
