Tuckahoe State Park is OPEN and operating within state and federal
directives pertaining to COVID-19. We have adapted our operations for
the health and safety of our visitors and staff. The camp store and
boathouse will be open on weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day. The
park office/visitor s center is now open! The challenge course will
remain closed until further notice. Firewood sales ARE available on
site (self-serve, pay at the woodshed).
Other amenities and goods are available in nearby Ridgely, Denton and
Centreville. Campers do not need to check-in; proceed directly to your
reserved cabin, campsite or pavilion (check the bulletin board if you
have questions). Please expect restrooms and bathhouses to be closed
daily for an extended period of time for enhanced cleaning.
Tuckahoe Creek, a quiet country stream bordered for most of its length
by wooded marshlands, runs through the length of the park. A 60-acre
lake offers boating and fishing.
The park has 20 miles of scenic hiking, biking and equestrian trails,
flat water canoeing, hunting, picnicking, as well as a recycled tire
playground for children.
I will be arriving on August 6th, 2021. I am staying on Electric site
