In this two-day course at a convenient location next to Newark Liberty International Airport, you’ll gain an understanding of the role of Scrum Master in a SAFe enterprise. Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the fundamentals of team-level Scrum, the SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master in the context of the entire enterprise, and prepares you to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.

Fernando M. Barrancos is an Agile and SAFe Consultant with eleven years of experience leading agile transformations and coaching teams at global corporations.
Fernando has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a master’s degree in Business Administration, plus advanced certificates Management and Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Project Management from New York University. He is a Certified Professional Coach (iPEC) with a specialization in Leadership Development and holds a variety of industry-recognized certifications, including SAFe® 5 Certified Program Consultant (SPC5), ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) and Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP), CSM/PO (SCRUM Alliance), ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean and Design for Six Sigma, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
