Annually selling out to 3,500 triathletes since its inception in 2006,
the race is one of the 10 largest TRIATHLONS IN THE NATION. CHALLENGE
NEW JERSEY STATE TRIATHLON FEATURES ONE OF THE FASTEST, flattest
courses in the nation. The swim is in serene Mercer Lake followed by
the bike through beautiful WEST WINDSOR Township. The run takes you
along the water on paved trails and shaded wood areas to an
unforgettable 200 yard dash to finish.Swim Course (Sprint 500 m.,
Olympic 1500 m.)
The swim will be in calm and beautiful Lake Mercer. The water
temperature, historically, has been in the high 70s, low 80s.
Bike Course (Sprint 11.5 miles, Olympic 25.2 miles)
The bike course will exit the park and is flat, fast and scenic.
Sprint distance athletes will complete one loop and Olympic Distance
will do two loops.
Run Course (Sprint 3.1 miles, Olympic 6.2 miles)
Both the Sprint and the Olympic distance racers will follow a course
that was laid out for the US Cross Country Championships and is flat,
fast and offers plenty of shade.
There is no bottle exchange on the Olympic course. All athletes must
provide their own hydration supplies.
