Alarm Will Sound—praised by _The New York Times_ as “one of the
most vital and original ensembles on the American music
scene”—returns to Princeton University for an evening dedicated to
new works by Princeton graduate student composers. This collaboration
between AWS and the Princeton Sound Kitchen highlights the next
generation of bold musical voices, offering a rare opportunity to hear
major new pieces performed by one of today’s leading ensembles for
contemporary music.
The program features world premieres by:
* FRANCISCO DEL PINO
* KENNEDY TAYLOR DIXON
* DEVIN GREENWOOD
* WILLIAM HEALY
* TRAVIS LAPLANTE
* LUCY MCKNIGHT
* ISAAC SANTOS
* NATHAN SCHRAM

From intimate explorations of instrumental color to boundary-pushing
experiments in rhythm, harmony, electronics, and narrative, these
works reflect the breadth of creative practice within Princeton’s
graduate composition program. Alarm Will Sound’s deep commitment to
collaboration and innovation makes them an ideal partner for bringing
these premieres to life.
