About Patrick Rosal
Patrick Rosal is the author of four books, most recently Brooklyn
Antediluvian, which was a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Award and
winner of the Lenore Marshall Prize from the Academy of American
Poets. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the
Arts for prose, as well as the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation and
the Fulbright Scholars Program for poetry. His writing has appeared in
American Poetry Review, Tin House, New England Review, Best American
Poetry, New York Times, and many other journals and anthologies. He
has been a featured performer internationally in Europe, Africa, and
at various spaces in the Caribbean, South America, and the
Philippines. He has also delivered readings and performances at
hundreds of venues and festivals throughout the United States, among
them the Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, the Whitney Museum, and
the Dodge Poetry Festival. He is an Associate Professor of Creative
Writing at Rutgers University-Camden where he directs the MFA Program.
