conversation, social roles, connection to peers and the community, and
minimizing distress. courses are limited to 16 participants to

contact IMC for more info. About this TRAINING: Day I (9:00am-5:00pm):
Participants are introduced to key concepts of partnering for
collaboration in the care of persons living with a DEMENTIA, to
support an active and meaningful lifestyle. Courses include: Day II
(9:00am-5:00pm): Participants incorporate techniques and explore
resources to develop increased self awareness within their practice, a
non-pharmacologic approach to distressing behaviors, and strategies to
enhance active participation, leadership, and quality of life for
persons living with DEMENTIA. Pre-work Requirements: One case study to
share with the trainers TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: 13 hours of classroom
TRAINING WITH INSPIRED MEMORY CARE’s principal trainers Three video
consent forms and three 30-minute, videotaped interactions
demonstrating appropriate application of techniques with
post-critique. First video due within one-month post-TRAINING Second
video due within two months post-TRAINING Third video due within three

Inspired Memory Care: Inspired Memory Care (IMC) is founded on the
belief that people with and without memory impairment should have
access to life-enriching, esteem-building experiences, sharing their
wisdom and pursuing their passions each day. Meeting the challenges of
aging and disease-related memory impairment can sometimes make it
difficult to achieve this quality of life. IMC provides training and
consulting services to support organizations with bridging the gap
gracefully and efficiently. We empower the individual with memory
impairment and his or her care partner to stay creative and connected

be unable to attend the course after registering, you must notify IMC
no later than June 1st, 2020, via phone or email in order to receive a
75% refund. Registrants who cancel after June 1st, 2020, or are
no-shows will be held responsible for the full amount of their
registration fee. Although no credits or refunds will be available
after June 1st, 2020 organizations may choose to send qualified
