HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD IS A 2016 BRITISH TWO-part play
written by Jack Thorne based on an original story by J. K. Rowling,
John Tiffany, and Thorne. The story begins nineteen years after the
events of the 2007 novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and
follows Harry Potter, now Head of the Department of Magical Law
Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, and his younger son Albus
Severus Potter, who is about to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry. The play is marketed as the eighth official story in the
Harry Potter series.
The play received enthusiastic critical reception. At the 2017
Laurence Olivier Awards, the London production received a
record-breaking eleven nominations and won another record-breaking
nine awards, including Best New Play. At the 2018 Tony Awards, the
Broadway production won six awards, including Best Play.
This trip is free for up to three (3) CHILDREN WITH A PAID
ACCOMPANYING ADULT TICKET THAT HAVE A CURRENT VERIFIABLE ADDRESS
WITHIN THE MONTICELLO CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT (MCSD). If you live
outside of MCSD and live in Sullivan County NY this trip is free for
up to two (2) CHILDREN WITH A PAID ACCOMPANYING ADULT TICKET. _Please
note this trip is not intended for children under 9 years old. _
How does the program work?
* Children's tickets are free with a paid adult ticket.
* The adult tickets and children's ticket must be completed on the
same transaction.
* The ticket purchaser MUST complete all of the required information
for the child or children attending for free (Full Name, Address, DOB,
and Age).
* Ensure you use a valid current email address and phone number.
* Download the communication app (This will be emailed before the
event).
* Tickets cannot be reserved, they are on a first come, first served
basis.
* Tickets cannot be transferred or sold to another person without the
written permission of Nana's House.
* There are no refunds.
This event is scheduled to depart from Nana's House on Sunday March 22
at 11:00 am to arrive in NYC by 1:00 pm. The play begins at 2:00 pm.
This is a two part play, each part runs about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The second play starts at 6:00 pm. You will receive your play tickets
upon showing your Eventbrite.com when boarding the bus.
