ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Kiki Williams [https://setu.yoga/teacher/kiki-williams/] is a black,
queer, interdisciplinary teacher, meditator, yogi, and dancer. Both a
movement and mindfulness-enthusiast, she weaves together these
modalities to support a fully-embodied approach to both individual and
collective healing. Her classes call for mindful attention and
awareness of each action, engaging both our wisdom and current body
knowledge, as well as the courage to expand our edges.
ABOUT SETU
This event is produced in partnership with Setu
[https://setu.yoga/about/], a wellness organization whose mission is
to build community around the practice of yoga. A community in which
all people feel seen, heard and valued, no matter their skin color,
gender identity, body type or life story. A community where people
courageously address inequities in wellness and support our collective
wellbeing.
