The Second Judicial District Pro Bono Committee are excited to announce the upcoming ALBUQUERQUE Law-La-PALOOZA, a Free LEGAL FAIR, set to take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Second Judicial District Court, 400 Lomas Blvd NW, ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87102.This community event offers individuals the invaluable opportunity to receive free legal consultations with experienced attorneys on a first-come, first-served basis. The fair will feature dedicated sessions for both family law and civil law consultations, ensuring comprehensive legal support across a wide range of issues. Event Schedule: Family Law Consultations: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM • Divorce • Custody • Visitation • Child Support • Spousal Support • Paternity • Kinship Guardianship Civil Law Consultations: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM • Landlord/Tenant • Bankruptcy • Creditor/Debtor • Adult Guardianship • Wills/Probate • Powers of Attorney • Public Benefits • Employment • Unemployment Benefits • Contracts • Immigration Bilingual attorneys and staff will be on-site to assist Spanish-speaking attendees, and ASL interpreters will be available upon request. The fair is organized by the Volunteer Attorney Program in collaboration with the Second Judicial District Pro Bono Committee.
