The Albuquerque Philharmonic Orchestra performs their 2nd concert for their 50th anniversary season.

The concert begins with Leopold Stokowski's transcription of J. S. Bach’s

mighty Toccata and Fugue in D minor, which he adapted for Walt

Disney's Fantasia.

Next, Morton Gould’s Symphonette # 4 (Latin American Symphonette) bursts with energetic

Latin rhythms employing full resources of the orchestra.

The concert concludes in refreshing contrast with Johannes Brahms’s

second Symphony in D major, opus 73.
