Pedro Reyes and Miranda Viscoli in Conversation

As part of the opening weekend of Pedro Reyes: DIRECT ACTION, SITE Santa Fe presents a conversation between artist Pedro Reyes and Miranda Viscoli, president of New Mexicans to Prevent Gun Violence and founder of Guns to Gardens, a gun buyback program rooted in New Mexico. Reyes and Visoli will discuss the power of transforming deadly materials into something life-giving through their experience working with community and law enforcement to decommission guns, planting trees, and creating musical instruments from gun parts.
