DISCOVERY CAMP 1ST-6TH GRADE

A place where kids become explorers. Campers learn through hands on
farm activities and discover the important world of soil ecology, bugs
and creepy crawlies. They will also learn how to prepare delicious
meals and the story of food.
YOU GROW CHICA! 4THST-8TH GRADE
JUNE 15-18, 2020 8:00 AM-12:30 PM
You Grow Chica campers will learn about the important role women and
girls play in, both past and present, nourishing and healing our
communities through agriculture and food. Campers will learn from
inspiring local women about food as medicine, traditional food sources
of iron, native pollinators, and three sisters gardens. Hands on
activities include: planting, composting, culinary arts, nature
bracelets, lady bug release, and making healing salves and lotions.
