RACE DAY Gun time will be promptly at 9AM. In order to start on time, please be parked and in the starting corral with your bib pinned to the FRONT of your shirt by 8:50AM. There will be important event announcements starting at 8:50AM that everyone must be present for. Our street closures are time sensitive so we cannot start late. Bib numbers must be pinned on all four corners to the front of your _OUTER-MOST_ torso layer. This will ensure our traffic control, timing/scoring and security teams know who is a legitimate participant. COVID-19 MITIGATION STRATEGIES In the context of road races and mass gatherings, mitigation measures at contact points, including packet pick-up, start and finish lines, water points, restrooms, and all medical facilities are the most important in reducing the likelihood of a transmission event. MITIGATION MEASURES/REQUIREMENTS AT THE HEART & SOLE 5K 1. Masks/face coverings must be used at any point where individuals cannot socially distance or are indoors. 2. We will NOT require any of our participants to use a mask on the racecourse. 3. Social distancing when outdoors, one meter (three feet), should be maintained between individuals even on the race course. 4. Registration/Bib Pick-up will be the first point of contact at the event. Masks must be worn while queuing and by all staff and volunteers. 5. Finish Line and post finish area: Please do not congregate. Maintain social distancing at all times. Masks must be worn when distancing is not possible or if you are unvaccinated.
