Ink and Indigo: Block Printing and Natural Dyeing - Albuquerque, NM 2026

In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the beauty of NATURAL DYEING AND BLOCK PRINTING AS THEY TRANSFORM ORDINARY TEXTILES INTO VIBRANT, handmade works of art. We’ll begin by creating rich INDIGO AND PLANT-based dye baths, experimenting with color, tone, and fabric preparation before moving on to carving original designs into linoleum BLOCKS. Students will learn essential linocut techniques and discover how texture, line, and pattern come to life through repeat PRINTING.
