Los Alamos WinterFest Holiday Lights Parade 2019

WinterFest Weekend celebrates winter in Los Alamos. Numerous businesses and orgainzations schedule events including ballets, bazaars, shows and sales. 
The Holiday Lights Parade is the highlight of WinterFest Weekend. It is staged at Canyon School on 4th and Central. This year's theme is "Whoville on the Hill"; please include the theme in your entry, but remember that throwing candy is prohibited during parades as a safety issue (children tend to then rush the floats). Handing out candy is permitted, however. You float will be judged and winners will be announced to the media. Staging begins at 5pm and the parade starts at 6pm. Following the parade is the Tree Lighting at Ashley Pond!
