Intermediate Printing Workshop Part One

Previous letterpress printing experience (for example, the Center for the Book Beginning Letterpress Workshop) is desirable, but not required. In part one of this intermediate workshop, participants will design and print a handbill featuring text and images. Please come to the first session with a 150-character text (including spaces) and a drawing or an idea for an image related to the text. Participants will carve their image into a linoleum block and set the type for their text. Participants must commit to attending sessions on both May 20 and May 22. Experienced shop assistants will guide you through the process. For ages 14+.
