Come and join us here in the woods at Into The Woods Farm for a
morning of farm experiences from hanging with the herd of Nigerian
Dwarf Goats to collecting eggs from our various chickens. Take a
look around, meet our animals, ask questions, and learn more about our
programs and who we are. Mornings On The Farm are a "free" event
however donations are accepted and appreciated. All donations go
toward the care and maintenace of the herd and flock here in the
woods. We practice holistic methods and all of our animals are fed
whole natural diets. We believe in health through wellness which
while not always the easiest and "cheapest" route we feel is the best
for ur animals aour farm and our family. Be prepared for the weather.
wear rain gear if raining, muck boots or shoes that can get dirty
(please note no open toed shoes allowed), and clothing you don't mind
getting muddy or dirty. The temperatures her on the hill at 1650ft
above sea level tend to be a bit cooler so dress appropriately so you
can enjoy your time here. Please do not bring food to feed the
animals we can provide treats that our animals are used to. Please
leave your other animals at home. We have dogs, cats. goats and
chickens who live here in the woods and want to keep everyone healthy
and safe. Thank you for your cooperation. Bring cameras for many photo
oppotunities and reusable water bottles which can be filled with our
sweet mountain well water straight from the spigot.
