Holiday Fanfares: Music of John Rutter, Daniel Pinkham and Gwyneth Walker (Beacon)

Conducted by Jason C Tramm, the Putnam Chorale's new music director, the group will perform a vibrant new program, titled: “Holiday Fanfares: Music of John Rutter, Daniel Pinkham and Gwyneth Walker.” The concert will feature "Gloria" by John Rutter, a rousing composition written for choir, brass, percussion, and organ. Described as "exalted, devotional and jubilant", the work is exhilarating and takes great advantage of the 50+ voices of the Putnam Chorale. Additional holiday works written by Pinkham and Walker will be performed.
