Cipollino

Cipollino is a delightful Italian folk tale that celebrates family and friendship. The Rafael Grigorian Ballet Theatre is pleased to restage this lovely production from its repertoire which features cast of local dancers. The story of the perky onion, Cipollino, and his family's troubles at the hand of the mean King Lemon, will please audiences of all ages! Especially when some of the other characters include Prime Minister Tomato, Queen Cherry and her silly daughters, and a village full of dancing squashes, eggplants and peppers! The first time Cipollino was portrayed as a ballet was in November 1974 in Kiev, Ukraine. Today, this ballet can be seen on many stages around the world. Come and experience Cipollino here in the Southern Tier. Cipollino is suitable for all ages. Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. You don't need to do a thing.
