A Concert Experience for Ages 1 to 99
Welcome to the ultimate musical playground!
Tiny Toes & The Jazz Crew
bridges the gap between playtime and professional performance, creating an interactive concert experience where toddlers, parents, grandparents and jazz lovers can all find their groove together.
We take cherished nursery rhymes and childhood classics and give them a sophisticated, high-energy jazz makeover—blending them seamlessly with the
American Songbook
and the infectious rhythms of
1940s bebop
. From “Old MacDonald” catching a classic swing beat to “The Wheels on the Bus” getting a soulful New Orleans jazz renovation, this is high-level music designed to delight ears of all ages.
At its heart,Tiny Toes & the Jazz Crew celebrates community, intergenerational connection and creative expression. Come share in the magic, match the rhythm and join the shout-alongs!
“We wanted to create a space where the next generation doesn’t just listen to music, but feels it,”
says Iris Ornig, Director of East End Jazz.
“By pairing familiar melodies with sophisticated jazz arrangements, we’re inviting families as well as jazz lovers to bring your inner child out and participate in the rhythm, movement, and spontaneous joy that defines this art form.”
Featuring an all-star ensemble of top-tier professional musicians bringing world-class jazz straight to your community: Natalia Rahim on vocals, TBA on piano, John Ludlow on sax, Iris Ornig (Director of East and Jazz) on bass and Brian Woodruff on drum.
