HOUSE OF THE SETTING SUN CONCERT SERIES IS EXCITED TO WELCOME Stephanie Jenkins [http://www.stephaniejenkins.info/music].Stephanie, a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer, grew up in a musical family on Manhattan's Upper West Side. She started playing old-time banjo at 16 and has been playing American traditional music ever since. Now a Brooklynite, Steph loves to play square dances, play shows and write songs. Some recent excitements include composing the score to Jenny Slate’s comedy special “Stage Fright” on Netflix, an appearance on HBO’s Crashing, and providing instrumental banjo score for Radiolab’s Dolly Parton’s America. She plays in old-time stringband The Calamity Janes and when she does her solo project she is often joined by pianist Ben Cosgrove/ Her debut EP “End to End” released in October 2018. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Join US for a music-filled evening in a beautiful solar powered Brownstone in Park Slope. Don't miss the chance to tour a residential solar canopy system by Brooklyn SolarWorks [https://brooklynsolarworks.com/] (weather permitting).  Light refreshments will be provided before and after the show. We ask for a suggested donation of $10 cash at the door.
