Celebrate spring and kick off the season at Brooklyn Bridge Park's beloved free annual Kite Festival on Saturday, May 16.

Bring your own kite and watch it soar above the city skyline - this is the one day of the year when kite flying is open to the public in Brooklyn Bridge Park! A limited number of kite giveaways and kites will be available to borrow; attendees are encouraged to bring their own kite.
