2025 Riedman Foundation Trout Derby benefiting the Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills Park

Join us for the 2025 Riedman Foundation Trout Derby, taking place on Tuesday, April 1, from 7:00 AM to Noon at Powder Mills Park. This exciting event supports the Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills Park, and we invite anglers of all ages to participate!

Registration Details:

Fee: $5 per participant (ages 9 and older). Children 8 and under can participate for free.

Registration Deadline: To be eligible for awards and prizes, you must be registered. The online registration deadline is 6:00 AM on the day of the event. No registrations will be accepted after this time.

Registration Form: Only one registration form is needed for up to four participants. If you are registering more than four, please fill out a second form.

Payment: Registration fees must be submitted via PayPal or by check to our downtown office or the Hatchery by Friday, March 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

Location:

Powder Mills Park is located in the southernmost part of Monroe County. Enter the park from Route 96, south of Bushnell’s Basin, near Interstate 490. The Powder Horn Lodge will serve as the derby headquarters.

Prizes:

After the final weigh-in at Noon, prizes will be awarded in multiple age categories, including youth. The prestigious Bank of America $500 Angler Award will go to the participant who catches the largest brown trout. Other exciting prizes include:
