Formerly known as Chil-E Fest, CHILI SUMMERFEST RETURNS TO CHILI AVENUE WITH A SPOTLIGHT ON LIVE MUSIC AND FESTIVAL FOOD. Two stages will host local and regional acts while food stands and vendors will line both sides of the street.4:00-5:30 pm Trinidad and Tobago Steelband The Trinidad and Tobago Steelband, under the leadership of Alfred St. John, has been performing throughout Western New York and Canada and beyond! since 1972. Alfred formed the group to share the exciting musical heritage of Trinidad and Tobago, and at present there are five core members. Their instruments are drums, bass guitar, cello pans, double tenor pans, double second pans, and soprano (lead) pan. Along with these instruments, there are many other percussives used on the recordings, and in person, and one or more vocalists accompany the band to live performances. All combine to provide an innovative program of island favorites and popular tunes performed in the special tropical way! These accomplished musicians have been associated with steel pans an average of twenty plus years each. And occasionally, guest panists are invited to perform with the group at special concerts and recording sessions. For concerts, festivals, weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, bat and bar mitzvahs, and any occasion that should be special, the Trinidad & Tobago Steelband has a combination of performers perfectly suited to any event. 4:00-5:30 pm Acoustic Brew Acoustic Brew is Rochester's Fun, Energetic Acoustic Guitar Based Band that specializes in an wide mix of music mostly from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current artists. Even though the name indicates "Acoustic" (primarily because of the Acoustic Guitar driven sound) don't expect to catch any Zzzzz's at an Acoustic Brew show! Armed with Acoustic Guitars, Bass, Drums and Vocals, no song is considered out of reach which sets an Acoustic Brew show apart and has made them a staple of the Rochester, NY music scene over the past 20 years! Combined with comedic personalities and exceptional musicianship it sets the table for a great evening of entertainment and fun, which translates into a memorable time for your event or establishment! A glimpse of Acoustic Brew's extensive song list and references of past performances guarantees crowds will be dancing, laughing, and singing along in no time. 6:00-7:30 pm Radio Star Radio Star delivers a high-energy performance packed with chart-topping 80’s hits and crowd favorites. From electrifying synth-pop anthems to powerhouse rock ballads, we guarantee an unforgettable experience. As a six-piece band featuring some of Rochester’s top musicians, we bring the ultimate party experience. The band covers many of the popular iconic songs of the 80’s as well as the nostalgic one hit wonders. Did you say Yacht Rock? We got you covered there too. With their precision drumming and infectious energy they are here to deliver a performance you will feel and remember! 8:00-10:00 pm Brass Taxi Brass Taxi will blow you away with its high-energy performance and unique combination of TOP 40, POP, and ROCK. Since 1996, BRASS TAXI has been performing at clubs, festivals, weddings, private parties, and fundraisers throughout the NY area. BRASS TAXI plays favorites from the 1970′s to today. As one local newspaper was quoted saying…. “Not many bands hit the stage and win a crowd over so quickly.
