READY TO PUN? Medved's special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the April Fools-themed LLOYD & HARRIER GAMES TOO ON TUESDAY, April 1st, 2025. Our Friends at Three Heads Brewing (186 Atlantic Ave, Rochester, NY 14607) will host our shenanigans and gameplay will span a course comprised of many ridiculous and foolish places around ROCHESTER, NEW YORK with the usual fun. Half scavenger hunt, half adventure race, extra foolish nonsense, total fun! REGISTRATION: Want to Captain a team? Captains register first, create their team name, and then have your Team Players register under that team. Don't want to captain? Sign up as a Free Agent and join the Free Agent Team and you can meet new running friends! TEAM REQUIREMENTS: * Teams of 5 -10 players who work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy-five minutes. * Game day check-in will open at 5:30 PM and the GAMES WILL START PROMPTLY AT 6:15 PM. Team captains should have completed check-in by 6 PM. * Each team will be required to carry a cell phone and have access to post on the Medved Facebook Group Home Page The Team Captain will also be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the GAMES. GAME RULES: A choose-your-own-adventure scavenger hunt, where runners earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges. There may be one or more mandatory checkpoints in addition to several optional checkpoints. Your team will receive the scavenger hunt list at The LLOYD & HARRIER GAMES TOO ON GAME DAY. To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook page. Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time (6:15 pm - 7:30 pm). Points will not be awarded for posts outside of that time frame. All participants are required to follow traffic and pedestrian guidelines at all times. Headlamps & Reflective gear are required, with no exceptions. BONUS POINTS: * Earn bonus points by making a run signup donation to our charity partner: Verona Street Animal Society. * Earn bonus points by dressing up in the spirit of the games! * Earn bonus points by wearing ASICS gear/shoes to the Games! * Additional bonus point opportunities will be announced.
