The HAMPTON BALLET THEATRE SCHOOL (HBTS) is excited to PERFORM THEIR
BEAUTIFUL SPRING PRODUCTION OF THE BALLET “COPPELIA” on Friday,
May 2 nd at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3 rd at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May
4 th at 12 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Hilarie and Morgan Mitchell
Theater in GUILD HALL IN EAST HAMPTON.Advance ticket prices range from
$35-$50 and day of performance ticket prices range
from $40-$55. Premium and orchestra seating is available at rates for
both children (under 12 years of age) and adults. Group rates for all
performances are available for groups consisting of 10 or more people.
The lively score is by Leo Delibes and the ballet is choreographed by
the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland and includes beautiful
costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera, Sara Jo Strickland
and Kate McManus and lighting designed by Sebastian Paczynski. HBTS
professional level 9 student Avery McCleland will be dancing the lead
roles of Swanhilda. Additional guest artists include Nick Peregrino.
“Coppelia” is a ballet comedic delight! The courtship of Swanhilda
and Franz, and the doll, Coppelia, who Franz mistakenly courts, along
with Dr. Coppelius’ bumbling antics will entertain all ages. The
traditional village dances in Act 1 and the “Festival of the Bell”
in Act 3 will have you dancing in your seats! Do not to miss this
