DATES: May 6, 13, 20, 27 Instructor: Karyn Lao In Soft SCULPTURES &
INFLATABLES, students will learn how to transform flexible, flat
material into 3D forms using air and other fillers to shape and bring
pieces to life! Students will learn basic sewing machine skills,
pattern-making from objects, and dyeing synthetic material. This class
encourages students to work in a range of scales and create both
individually and collaboratively. -- Our classes are designed to focus
on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is
to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for
sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional
materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their
vision. 4 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free
during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new
knowledge to practice.Event reminder
