Week 1: Tweens Summer Classes (Ages 11-14) - Brooklyn, NY 2026

Textile Arts Center Summer Camp welcomes campers to create and connect with the world of contemporary and historical textiles in interactive and exciting week long programs. Textile Arts Center’s summer classes for Tweens ages 11-14 year olds are inspired by weekly explorations of textile exhibitions and visits from local textile artists. Each week features a different themed project with a focus on learning new techniques and building skills. The previous weeks’ projects build onto each other - register for one session of a particular technique or for all seven weeks for in depth textile explorations. The daily camp schedule is Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm at Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn: 9:00 AM - Drop off 9:30 AM - Textile class 11:30 PM - Lunch 12:00 PM - Group play @ park/garden 1:15 PM - Craft Time 2:30 PM – Snack 3:00 PM – Pick Up 300-5:00 PM – Extended Stay (Separate Registration Required) (this daily schedule is a sample subject to change based on weather & project needs)
