​In honor of Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM), come out for an evening of culinary tradition paired with a powerful exploration of history.

​Tragic Awakening: A New Look at the Oldest Hatred is a 52-minute documentary that delves into the enduring impact of anti-Semitism, offering a thoughtful reflection on its history and the strength of Jewish communities in the face of adversity.

​Prior to the screening, indulge in a curated selection of traditional Jewish foods, each one a symbol of celebration, hope, and resilience. From the sweet hamentaschen for Purim to the golden latkes of Chanukah, these dishes are a delicious reflection of the Jewish experience.

​This event invites you to reflect on the past, celebrate Jewish culture, and engage in important conversations about identity, community, and the fight against hatred. Experience the power of food, film, and shared stories in a space of connection and understanding.

​20% of proceeds will benefit Seeds of Peace, a non-profit “dedicated to the pursuit of peaceful change in communities divided by conflict.” The remaining proceeds will go towards the licensing of the film and the food.
