He’s back! Tony nominee, Drama Desk Lifetime Achievement honoree,
and two-time MAC Award winner CHARLES BUSCH RETURNS TO CATSKILL’s
intimate BRIDGE STREET THEATRE on Saturday February 24 at 4:00pm for a
special one-time-only benefit performance of his most personal cabaret
show ever: “My KINDA ’60s.”This thrilling new show, which
premiered last September at Feinstein’s/54 Below in Manhattan and
recently received a 2017 Broadway World Cabaret Award as “Best Show
– Celebrity Male”, whisks audiences back to the Manhattan of the
tumultuous 1960s. Charles interweaves personal anecdotes of a
childhood and adolescence spent coming of age under the guidance of
his indomitable Aunt Lillian with songs from the decade by such
artists as Burt Bacharach, Jimmy Webb, The Beatles, Henry Mancini, Bob
Dylan, Stephen Sondheim, and Kander and Ebb.
Appearing with Mr. Busch in this unique, hilarious, and poignant
evening of music and story-telling will be his long-time musical
director/arranger Tom Judson.
“My KINDA ’60s” will be performed once only, Saturday February
24, at 4:00 in the afternoon on the BRIDGE STREET THEATRE Mainstage,
located at 44 West Bridge Street in the Village of CATSKILL, NY. Doors
will open at 3:00pm for a pre-performance “High Tea” in the
theatre’s Speakeasy and the show will be followed by a champagne
reception with the artists. Seats are $60.00 and will be available to
the general public at Brown Paper Tickets beginning on February 5.
However, if you purchase a 2018 BRIDGE STREET THEATRE Season
Subscription, you’ll receive special access to pre-book your tickets
for only $50.00 prior to that date. But you’d better hurry –
CHARLES BUSCH’s previous appearance at BRIDGE STREET THEATRE was
