Please join Cornell Welcomes Refugees (CWR) on April 29, 2017 in
raising awareness on the worldwide refugee crisis, collecting funds to
purchase flight tickets for refugees who will be resettling here in
Ithaca, celebrating different languages & cultures from all over the
world, and promoting an accepting, welcoming environment for our
community as well as this country.
There will be a keynote speech from Mayor Svante Myrick, a performance
from Teszia Bellydancing Troupe and the Cornell Middle Eastern Music
Ensemble, a DJ, Spoken Word, Henna, Art Displays by Cornell Art
Students on the refugee crisis, an auction, and much more! ALL
proceeds will go to refugees resettling in the Ithaca community!
Appetizers and desserts will be provided!
