WEEKDAY PRACTICE Please get to Cass Park around 5:30pm – 5:45pm at
the latest – to get your gear (life vest, paddle, seat pad, etc.).
_Team warm ups _start at 5:45pm, then we'll load the boat and be on
the water by 6pm. Stragglers, if you snooze, you lose!
_If you are new_, come a bit earlier to talk to someone from the New
Members Committee and get some basic club/paddling instructions.
A NOTE ON WHAT TO WEAR:
If it's still chilly: Your hands and lower arms will get wet. Paddling
or biking gloves if you have them. Long sleeves that you can push up.
Maybe a light fleece. A couple layers are good so you can take one off
when you warm up from paddling. Your feet could get a little wet. Some
people wear water sandals with wool socks, others just wear
flip-flops! Some folks wear light quick dry hiking pants. Yoga pants
are good too. Just no cotton!
If it's warm: bring and wear sunscreen! Bring water and make sure
you're properly hydrated.
PLEASE NOTE/REMEMBER: you can not get on the boat unless you've
completed a 2017 MEMBERSHIP/WAIVER FORM
