Traditional Timber Frame Research Advisory Group (TTRAG) Conference

The TRADITIONAL TIMBER FRAME RESEARCH ADVISORY GROUP (TTRAG) CONFERENCE, will focus on Dutch TIMBER FRAMING IN THE NEW WORLD. Speakers and attendees will include experts from the Netherlands as well as the Dutch Consulate in New York. Dutch Culture USA, a unit of the Dutch Consulate, is eager to support this conference, which will bring more focus on Dutch architecture, and specifically timber framing, which has roots in the Netherlands. The Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (Rijkdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed) will send speakers as well. The agency is the main Dutch governmental body concerned with all aspects of heritage, including buildings. We are pleased to share with you that this program is supported in part by the Dutch Culture USA program of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York. The TTRAG Conference will be an excellent opportunity for Guild members to expand their knowledge of Dutch timber framing and make connections with experts in Dutch architecture, culture, and heritage.
