0945 – 1015: Registration and introductions
1015 – 1100: Stability essentials
Anatomical diaphragmatic breathing drills. Language of movement. Low
threshold zone one stabiliser activation
1110 - 1200: Joint lube sequences
Seated t-spine sequence. Six-point t-spine sequence. Lizard lunge
sequence. Squat sequence. Frog-pigeon sequence. Shin box sequence.
Russian flat foot sequence
1210 - 1300: Foot love. Principles of stretching. Partner stretching
using contract-relax drills.
1210 – 1300: Stability and activation essentials
1300 – 1345: Lunch
1345 – 1400: Movement quiz - quick test on pre-reading material
1400 - 1500: The kettlebell get up
1510 – 1600: Killer Kettlebell Activation and Warm-Up Complexes
1610 – 1700: Killer Kettlebell Complexes: Key ingredients 2
Technical breakdowns and progressions for double (offset) squat,
double (offset) military press, double (offset) push press, kettlebell
push up. A discussion about how to put these ingredients together to
target specific outcomes.
1710 – 1830: Killer Kettlebell Complexes: The recipe book
A physically demanding series of samples of the most effective
kettlebell complexes to target specific goals.
PRE-REQUISITES
Although this workshop is geared toward fitness professionals, all the
movements are taught from scratch, so no previous experience is
essential. However, students with a foundational layer of movement and
kettlebell skill will take a lot more away.
