_COURSE DESCRIPTION_: If you work with runners, developing a keen
understanding of bone stress injuries, tendon related disorders,
resistance training, and coaching principles is essential to foster
optimal outcomes. This 2-day course is designed for practitioners
looking to be fast tracked when it comes to migrating runners out of
the medical system and back to consistent and healthy training. An
emphasis will be placed on communication strategies, running specific
functional assessments, exercise prescription/program design, and
running gait analysis as it relates to addressing pain and dysfunction
as well as performance. Bone stress injuries and tendon related
disorders will be a primary focus of the course considering that
runners often present with such pathology, which poses a unique set of
challenges for practitioners that often go under-appreciated. This
course is approved for CEUs in the state of WA & OR. _STRUCTURE_: an
eclectic course that draws on the best and most current research
