vocalist, born in Shiretoko (Hokkaido), Japan. Currently based in
Tokyo, HATIS NOIT DRAWS ON HER EXPERIENCE WITH BALLET, theater arts,
traditional folk music, koto, gagaku (the court music of ancient
Japan) and acting. She is also the vocalist of the band Mutyumu
(Virgin Babylon Records hosted by world's end girlfriend), which has
received both domestic and international praise. At her solo project,
HATIS NOIT UNIQUELY INTERPRETS CLASSICAL MUSIC, whisper, ethnic music,
poetry reading within her singing, and has established a solemn and
formidable world music that consists of only her voice. Her
collaborations in the art, fashion and theatre scene have also been
highly regarded. In 2013, she took part in one of YAGYA's (Iceland)
songs as vocalist (released by DELSIN RECORDS, Amsterdam). She has
released her 1st solo album "Universal Quiet" in 2014, and her 2nd
album "Illogical Dance" in 2015. Her newest single "Illogical LULLABY"
features an edit by Matmos (Thrill Jockey Records). Melodic layers of
synthesizers coupled with syncopated kicks and percussion that evolves
into poly-rhythmic territory. [LULLA LAYLA] LULLA IS A JAPANESE
SINGER/Song Writer and Composer originally based in Tokyo, Japan.
LULLA'S MUSIC HAS JAPANESE TRADITIONAL ELEMENTS COMBINED WITH A
PSYCHEDELIC FOLK SENSIBILITY. Her music delivers haunting piano
ballads spanning subjects from love life and everything in between. On
several occasions audience members from different parts of the world
have said to LULLA, " Your music makes me nostalgic because your music
seems like my country's music.", even though she was not familiar with
their country songs. She feels maybe her blood remembers other lives
and this sentiment comes through in her compositions. She loves the
idea of people coming together through folk sensibility and music. The
line up of LULLA’s current solo project is, vocals and piano / LULLA
MIYUKI, bass / Mike Gallina , guitar / Michael Biskup, percussion /
Steve Honoshowsky and Ud / Alejandro Castellano. Recently LULLA IS
ALSO PRODUCING A DANCE ENSEMBLE WITH HER MUSIC. [Iyco & Kaka FURAHA]
IYCO’s ambition is to create music which evokes images of nature
such as sky, sea, wind, rain and earth. Her aim is to incorporate
African-style music in her compositions. In this way, she can create
her own unique brand of Japanese-African music. She has set her sights
