The Pigeon & The Mouse

January 24-25, 2020 An Original Work of Dance-Theater Conceived, Created, Produced, and Performed by Tony Bordonaro & Ingrid Kapteyn A land creature and a sky creature who are deeply in love learn that the earth is falling out of the sky. At the intersection of dance and theater, abstraction and narrative, sci-fi and fable, The Pigeon & The Mouse is a love story about two people forced to leave home in the wake of civil war. Join Tony and Ingrid in the practice of what homo sapiens do best: use fiction and fantasy as a means to survive. Doors open for an art installation and reception 30 minutes prior to each performance. There will be an optional TALKBACK with Tony and Ingrid following the 7pm show on Saturday, January 25th. The performance runtime is 1 hour. Audience members will be seated for the duration of the performance.   *Please be advised that the performance contains partial nudity, and there are no restrooms at the venue. Public restrooms are available nearby at Grand Central Station.
